The purpose of this webinar is to introduce Members to the risks, challenges and rewards when retained to undertake property development valuations.
This webinar will focus mainly on non-bank lenders and explore what valuers need to be aware of when undertaking property development valuations in an environment of changing client lender and borrower/developer dynamics. Such issues to be explored include client and client’s client profiling, retainer agreements (and liability), pre and post engagement communications, pitfalls of practices including the importance of report content, and the vexed question of professional indemnity insurance cover.
This is a risk management session to allow valuers to more fully understand whether they accept instructions to undertake property development valuations, or possibly not!
