WAVO Launches the Global Education Hub to Elevate Standards in Valuation and Real Estate Education
Singapore, March 2026 — The World Association of Valuation Organisations (WAVO) proudly announces the launch of the WAVO Global Education Hub, a landmark initiative aimed at enhancing education, training, and professional standards for valuers and real estate professionals worldwide.
The Hub offers a comprehensive suite of education and training courses covering a wide range of topics — from real estate valuation and real estate-related modules to ESG, PropTech, green building appraisals, social housing, and the impact of contaminated lands. Through these curated programs, the Hub seeks to uphold quality control and standardisation of education and training for valuers and appraisers globally.
The WAVO Global Education Hub was first unveiled publicly in September 2024 during the 11th WAVO Congress in Bucharest, Romania, hosted by ANEVAR, one of the founding members of WAVO. The announcement was made by newly elected Executive President Mr Robert Hecek, marking a new chapter in WAVO's global education mission.
The announcement of the Hub was also commended by Mr Ben Elder, Chair of the Advisory Workgroup of the IVSC, congratulated WAVO on the launch of the WAVO Global Education Hub via zoom from the United Kingdom and Nick Talbot, CEO IVSC who was at the Congress extended his congratulations and support from the IVSC to WAVO.

The Hub will host the first set of carefully selected IVSC webinar courses based on the International Valuation Standards 2025 (IVS 2025), which is also the start of the series of collaboration on courses between IVSC and WAVO. Assessments are included in these courses to gauge valuers' and appraisers' comprehension of the IVS 2025.
At the recent IVSC Annual General Meeting held in New Delhi, India, Mr. Robert Hecek unveiled the WAVO Global Education Hub during the IVSC Advisory Group Conference on October 28. This announcement was made to an audience of approximately 200 delegates, including both local and international participants, as well as IVSC members representing around 47 countries, signifying a significant advancement for WAVO.
